Biologists enjoying a New England clambake!
This year the Biology Department hosted their annual picnic at the MSC. Of course a picnic at the MSC wouldn’t be official unless we did a clambake. Preparations took place over two days and included pit digging, rock hauling, seaweed harvesting, and wood splitting. The picnic featured food from Nahant’s local fishery. I think we all enjoyed not only the food and summer-like weather but also a chance to relax and socialize with our colleagues and families. Yours truly even took a second place prize for her raspberry streusel bars!
